ENERGY SAFETY TIPS

Safety Tip #1: Home Generators

If you use a generator, be sure to keep it outdoors and away from doors, windows and vents.

Safety Tip #2: Outage Alerts

Get outage alerts on your mobile phone, text 'REG' to 64743 and get updates to know when the power will come back on.

Safety Tip #3: Dig Safe

Call DIG SAFE at 811 before you dig in your yard to check for underground power lines and pipes.

Safety Tip #4: Carbon Monoxide

Check the batteries in your carbon monoxide detectors regularly.
