Frederic earns first career NHL point
Trent Frederic continued his strong start to his season in Boston, earning his first career NHL point with an assist in a 6-1 win over Philadelphia. Frederic has embraced his role on the third line, earning praise from teammates like Brad Marchand for his play so far. "Not just tonight, he's been great since the first game," said Brad Marchand, who notched two goals and an assist in the victory. "He did a great job coming into camp in really good shape and did what he had to do to make the Opening Day roster. He's been awesome. He's not trying to do too much, he's playing hard, he's winning battles, he's always kind of stirring stuff up and getting guys off their game."

Studnicka nets first NHL goal in 5-4 win over Flyers
P-Bruins alumni Jack Studnicka scored his first NHL goal in a thrilling 5-4 comeback victory over the Flyers, scoring the first even-strength goal of the season for Boston. "It's obviously a very exciting night for myself," said Studnicka. "Great to get the win that adds onto that. It was a good play by Ritch at the blueline and a really skilled play by Krech to find me there and just put it in the net…I'm playing with a really good centerman in Krech so just trying to get the net, keep my stick on the ice, find some open ice, and most of the time he finds you."
