PROVIDENCE BRUINS SIGN EVAN VIERLING AND MASON MILLMAN
Jul 10, 2024Providence, RI - Providence Bruins General Manager Evan Gold announced today, July 10, that the Providence Bruins have signed forward Evan Vierling and defenseman Mason Millman to one-year, two-way AHL contracts.
Vierling, 22, skated in 34 games last season with the Wheeling Nailers of the ECHL, tallying seven goals and 18 assists for 25 points. The 6-foot, 167-pound forward also appeared in eight games with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, recording two goals and five assists. The Aurora, Ontario native was originally selected by New York in the fifth round (127th overall) of the 2020 NHL Entry Draft.
Millman, 22, skated in 44 games last season with the Reading Royals of the ECHL, tallying seven goals and 19 assists for 26 points. The 6-foot-1, 175-pound defenseman also appeared in 15 games last season with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, recording four assists. Millman has played in 41 career AHL games with the Phantoms, notching eight assists. The London, Ontario native was originally selected by Philadelphia in the fourth round (103rd overall) of the 2019 NHL Entry Draft.
